SICL is a leading national supplier of lignin-based binding/dispersing serial products. We produce and trade mainly with lignosulphonate technical powder sodium, calcium and magnesium.
In recent years we focus on the research and development of advanced technology for producing sodium lignosulfonate (SLS) by using corncob as a single raw material. About 12% sodium sulfite is added to the production process for cooking, boiled solution is separated by chromatography after mechanical vapor compression and then re-concentrated to produce SLS aqueous solution WS-2 (sugar content is more than 10%). while WS-1 (sugar content less than 10%) was obtained after reducing sugar and modification. SLS powder was obtained by spray drying of the liquid.

lignosulfonates, or sulfonated lignin, (CAS number 8061-15-6) are water-soluble anionic polyelectrolyte polymers, they are byproducts from the production of wood/natural plants pulp using sulfite pulping. Lignosulfonates have a wide variety of applications in the fields of agriculture & forestry, petroleum, metallurgy, colorant, cement, concrete and polymers industry. Act as plasticizers in making concrete , where they allow concrete to be made with less water (decrease water consumption by 10-15% so as to giving stronger concrete) while maintaining the ability of the concrete to flow.

The ability of lignosulfonates to reduce the viscosity of mineral slurries is used to advantage in oil drilling mud, where it replaced tannic acids from quebracho or needle wood.To be used to disperse pesticides, dyes, carbon black, and other insoluble solids and liquids into water. They are used in tanning of leather, ceramics, mineral powder, textile, refractory, rubber reinforce agent, They are also used to suppress dust on unpaved roads.
